Evita Frantzola is an established Greek painter working in a representational abstract vein.

Her work, shown in solo exhibitions in Athens and Madrid and included in numerous group shows, explores the relationship between subject, image and process without succumbing to non-objectivity and formlessness.

Born in 1964, Frantzola studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts under Dimitris Mytaras and pursued graduate studies on a state scholarship at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris under Leonardo Cremonini.

Well traveled, she currently lives and works in Athens and in her studio on the island of Cythera.
